Membership 2023-24
The following is our membership prices for the 2023/2024 academic year. The description for each membership explains their prices and the activities/ benefits they come with. All memberships give you access to our training sessions and our UNBELIEVABLE socials! Members who attend pool sessions will also require at least a Sport & Wellbeing's Sports Pass membership which is £45.
Year Membership - Competition £90
A year's membership to the SUSC competitive squad. This incudes competitive pool sessions at the campus pool, Jubilee Sports Centre, non-pool training sessions, and all social events. A previously decent standard of swimming is expected: able to comfortably swim planned sets for at least an hour's duration while maintaining technique. These sessions build upon your previous ability in swimming and enhance your stamina, speed and technique ready for competitions and/or to build fitness depending on your interests in swimming with the team. This group is not exclusive to those who want to compete in competitions; if you're no longer interested in racing but have a history in club swimming at a decent standard, this group is suitable for you.
Includes:

Access to 9 hours of pool time with a qualified and experienced coach, spread across mornings and evenings 5 days a week.

2 hours of gym exercise.

Access to all available competitions including BUCS, BUSL and also Varsity for our A + B teams.

Access to all available UNBELEIVABLE SUSC social events hosted every Wednesday and any special events; all with the Recreational squad, thus allowing not just a competitive but a social, friendly and enjoyable environment with all the team.
Year Membership - Recreation £65
A year's membership to the SUSC recreational squad. This includes recreational pool sessions at the campus pool, Jubilee Sports Centre, non-pool training sessions, and all social events. The recreation squad is the perfect place to develop your swimming skills in a low-intensity environment. Coaches' sets help to build on your technique and improve your endurance. Basic swimming skills are essential to join, meaning you must be able to comfortably swim lengths un-aided: we recommend being able to swim 200m (8 lengths) continuously.

Access to 7 hours of pool time with an experienced coach, spread across mornings and evenings 5 days a week.

1 hour of gym exercise

Access to a range of in-house competitions and also the opportunity to swim at some BUCS events.

Access to all available UNBELEIVABLE SUSC social events hosted every Wednesday and any special events; all with the Competitive squad, thus allowing a social, friendly and enjoyable environment with all the team.
Single Semester Competition Membership £50
A membership to the competitive squad which lasts either the duration of semester 1 or semester 2 of the year. This membership, during the semester it is bought for, includes access to all the benefits + sessions that is described in the competitive membership.

Single Semester Recreation Membership £35
A membership to the recreational squad which lasts either the duration of semester 1 or semester 2 of the year. This membership, during the semester it is bought for, includes access to all the benefits + sessions that is described in the recreational membership.
