Membership 2026/2027

We’re excited to announce that training resumes Monday 28th September! Sessions will take place at both Jubilee Sports Centre (on campus) and Wide Lane Gym, offering plenty of opportunities to get back in the water.

Our amazing coaching team returns this year with Matt Heathcock as Head Coach and Jeremy Williams as Deputy Head Coach, supported by our captains and student coaches - ready to help both Competition and Recreational Squads achieve their best!

Important Info:

  • Training starts Monday 28th September

  • Sessions available at Jubilee Sports Centre and Wide Lane Gym

  • Sports Pass required for all members (including trialists)

  • Book sessions via the UoS Sports app - no drop-ins allowed!!

  • Trial period for new members runs until the end of October

  • Memberships and Sports Pass details can be found below

  • City SC members may also continue training with them throughout the year

Taster Session - Saturday 20th September 2026

At the start of each academic year we hold a relaxed “trial” session for any potential members (comp or rec, freshers and returners) to experience what swimming with us is like and for us to gauge ability. Sign up is TBC.

Season Start - Monday 28th September 2026

Our full training schedule commences from Monday 28th September. We have a trial period before memberships are due (31st October) where you can see which squad suits your ability best and you can also switch squads later in the year if you would like to do so. Membership can be bought for the whole year, or for individual semesters.


The following is our membership prices for the 2026/2027 academic year. The description for each membership gives a brief outline of its key benefits and their prices. All memberships give you access to our training sessions and socials. Memberships are only purchasable by University students or staff. Details about each squad can be found on our Squads and Training page.

Academic Year Membership - £95

Includes:

  • Eight pool sessions across a week also including One gym session.

  • Eligible for all competitions including BUCS, BUSL and Varsity.*

  • Access to all weekly SUSC social and special events.*
